Just a quick glimse of a Hyena stopping by and I think what is one of the Geese and a wading bird in the water.

 Now we have a jackal on the left.

 Three very quiet elephants just walked up for a drink.  None look like adults to me.  No leopard yet.  By the time I got this typed they are walking away.

Missed the hyena.  Heading home.  Will sign in to see if the leopard has shown up.

Mom and youngster.  These two seem very close and in sync with each other.  Lovely to watch them together.

Ah, and joined by another.  Actually, the third ellie may actually be the mom and the other two siblings?  Ah, yes, so it would seem.    Youngster showing signs of wanting to nurse with the larger ellie who arrived later.  The sibling has wandered off, and there go the other two.  What a lovely family.

 It was wonderful and yes, sharing it would be great. At ;least we could virtually share it :o)

Oh, Afke, what a beautiful picture of the night sky!! I was away from my computer, and was just looking back at the posts. Wow - wish I could be sitting there with you having a rooibos and a rusk right now!!

Afke, that´s the other reason why I´d love to go there. I live in a small town with a lot of green around, so sometimes I drove outside the town on a hill to enjoy a beautiful night sky and to see shooting stars better, but still there is light around from the town. It must be so wonderful, I think I´ll start hitch hiking tomorrow, so get the tea ready for easter

 Elke, the African night sky is so beautiful. That alone is worth it. You can see so much more of the universe than in Europe (because of the light polution there) and on top of that the stars, planets and the moon are completely different here.

I always wanted to see Africa. (mostly because of the animals of course)

The other day I told my boyfriend I have to see the sun coming up there before I die(normal thing to say with 41, don´t you think?lol), now I have a reason to stay there overnight too, haha
