It took me...literally...25 minutes to get into this thread, just to see if I could. I think the problem is that there is so much material here for the forum to search through. I wonder if there is some way to archive the material, or possibly split it up into threads for Sightings & Sounds 2005, Sightings & Sounds 2006, and so on? If that could be done, the older material would still be accessible if someone were looking for something specific, but none of the threads would be so huge that it takes forever to open them. Size, apparently sometimes does matter.
Personally, I find Rita's thread much easier to get into for conversations, but there is a great deal of very valuable material...pictures, information, etc...in this thread that shouldn't be completely lost to us. Those of you who have been around a longer time will have a better idea of the best way to divide the thread up, but I think the techs could manage it without too much difficulty, particularly if you used time periods as the criteria for splitting it up. Just a thought.
